Who is eligible for the grant?

FarmReady is not means or asset tested. To be eligible, you must be a primary producer (farmer, fisher or forester), an immediate family member of a primary producer, a member of the management team of a primary production enterprise, or an Indigenous land manager.

How to apply for the grant

1) Go to the website and download the application form at http://www.farmready.gov.au/Forms/PPForms.html

2) Complete and sign the application form and fax it to (02) 6103 9098 or email to admin@farmready.gov.au.  Note that you must fill in these forms at least five working days prior to the course. The course code is FRTC758.

3) Prior to course commencement, pay the full course cost to the local centre hosting the course.

How to be reimbursed

We will collect course evaluation forms and receipts of payment from you at the course, and send all necessary paperwork to FarmReady.  You will be reimbursed within 10 working days of FarmReady receiving this paperwork.

The grants are for up to $1,500 per financial year, per applicant.  You can be reimbursed up to this limit.
